B. Sena Studio
Beatriz Sena is a multi media artist/designer originally from Brasil and currently based in Toronto, Canada.
With a background in Integrated Media studies and Illustration, Sena offers a wide variety of techniques in her approach to deliver unique and creative results for large and small scale visual projects.
Artist Statement
In my personal work I am interested in exploring subject of identity through the female lens, utilizing as many mediums as possible to create layers of depth that can add to the sentiment in my vision.
I am intrigued by folklore and theology and often incorporate symbolic elements found in “cordel”, a type of popular printmaking from Northeastern regions in Brasil, to add to my visual narrative.
